SwingLogic SLX MicroSim — Cheapest sim-play option

★★★★☆ 3.7 Works with: E6 Connect

A club-mounted sensor that lets you play sim courses on a screen for almost nothing. Accuracy is estimated, not measured — cheap fun, not real practice.

Our review

The SwingLogic SLX MicroSim is a club-mounted sensor that lets you play simulator courses on a screen for almost nothing. It's the cheapest route to hitting into a virtual course, and for casual fun that's genuinely appealing.

The crucial caveat is that its data is estimated from the sensor rather than measured from the ball, so accuracy is low — it's entertainment, not practice. Buy it only if you want the cheapest possible way to mess about on sim courses. If you care about real, trustworthy numbers or actual improvement, it isn't the tool — even an entry launch monitor like the R10 is in a different league.
